First we were sent to an auditorium where we have to register ourselves and then they gave us a ID card we have to wear those ID cards till the end of the process. After that we were sent for WAT.
Technical Ability test:
It was 1 hour test comprising 16 questions. 3–4 question on probability, 2–3 question on pseudo code, 1 question on matrices, surface area and 3–4 questions on statistics i.e correlation coefficient, histogram, scatter plot, variance, std deviation etc.
Written Ability Test:
It was 30 Minutes test, it had two topics.
In the first question we were given a sentence I don’t remember the exact sentence but the gist was – ‘the demand side should be kept going. For this we need to get money in the hands of people who need it, people who will spend money now and in hands of poor people ’ we have to write in favor or against the sentence in 250 words.
In second question we had to interpret two images and write about it by connecting both the images in 200 words and give it a topic. The first image was of a person standing in the podium in front of a crowd and the other image was of a chess pawn and in its shadow we can see the image of king.
then we were taken for GD and GE in groups of 6–7 people.
Group Discussion:
We were given a case study that a fairness cream has an ad campaign in South Africa that the model gets fairer by using the cream but people misinterpreted it as racism. We have discuss the ways the company could have handled the problem and the ad campaign.
Group Exercise:
We were given 7 news headlines we have to select any four headlines, then explain and justify the selected points. we had chart papers, sketch pens, white board etc to make our presentation.
Personal Interview:
There was a lady P1 and a guy P2
P1- Give us a brief introduction about yourself.
me: When I said that I am a python dev they became more curious to know about my work as python is required in analytics.
P1- You have not written anything about your work in snapc form. why?? tell us more about what you do.
Me : Covered it by saying client confidentiality(its true :p ) and then explained my work at high level.
P2: Ok.. So how will you use analytics for employee retention? what are the data points that you will collect for retention.

P2: who was the CEO of infy at ur time… I answered
P2: So he made a Work from home policy which retained many employees. tell us that kind of policies.. answered

then they gave me a case study and I have to discuss problem statement and its solution .
Overall the panel was very nice and it was like a conversation. The process was very smooth. In the end we submitted our ID cards and went.
